Structure
Governance and Leadership
The governance structure of Kilimo Sustainable Movement (KSM) is designed to ensure strategic leadership, accountability, and effective implementation of sustainable agriculture initiatives.
KSM operates through four key organs:
General Assembly
The highest decision-making body, composed of key stakeholders and farmer representatives. It provides overall direction and approves major strategies.
Board of Directors
Responsible for strategic governance, policy formulation, and ensuring alignment with KSM's mission of promoting sustainable food systems.
Executive Management Team
Led by the Managing Director, this team oversees program development, partnerships, and translating strategic plans into actionable programs.
Operations & Coordination
Handles day-to-day implementation: farmer engagement, organic fertilizer development, training programs, and community outreach.
Cross-functional Units
To strengthen effectiveness, KSM integrates specialized units focusing on inclusive participation and scalable impact across all programs.
